About Paul

VTS was founded by Paul Van Halteren, a Belgian born entrepreneur. His appointment as Honorary Belgian Consul is the crown on a career in international business that thrived thanks to his fluency in four languages and his passion for cross cultural connections.

His passion for travel and culinary curiosity began as a child. Each summer his family toured neighboring European countries following a carefully navigated route that would land them at a Michelin Guide hidden gems just in time for lunch. Together the polyglot family debated aromas, recipes, destinations and cultures. Paul’s destiny was forged.
